we head back to the fork in the road to head the other direction and into the active mine
we take cover as 14 miners walk down the shaft. They spot k'Mort and start to try pull him down from the rafters. They claim to have been sent by their mistress to kill/capture us
k'Mort uses Define Down to ragdoll the miners. The mouth on the back of his neck says "the eye is weeping"
k'Mort focuses and manages to talk through the mouth of the colossus on his neck to the miners. This seems to break the spell that they were under
