Numenera Jade Colossus 2025-04-27

• We head west down the cold hallway
• Carl falls down the Jade Colossus chimney onto the top of us
• There is a dark humanoid shape down the hall
• As we walk towards the shape we get sped up and zoom past it. It seems to be letting out a low musical hum
• We make some attempts to get close to the machine. Yuzu is able to successfully dance her way towards it.
• The device starts to emit a series of tones. Its an ear worm that we can never forget and can replicate at will in the future
• Yuzu is flung back by sonic feedback. A cybernetic component was lodged in her throat
• k'Mort breaks the crystal structure with his otherworldly baseball bat. He picks up one of the pieces
• further down the hallway we come to an empty shaft about 20ft across
• Ludin knows that Wrana discovered a way to control an elevator in the shaft
• Carl peeks his head though the ceiling and gets attacked by a bat like creature. We quickly pull him back inside
• We head up a few floors to a wide open area filled with various flora. It looks like a large explosion went off a long time ago. Its connected to various corridors and rooms. Many of which are destroyed
• The ground is covered with pools of Waxy ooze Level 9
• Carl sprays away the ooze with his water gun
• k'Mort falls into a crevas, we pull him up
• We a new area called the Mouth of Exhaltation
