Numenera Jade Colossus 2025-03-16

  • k'Mort punches the pyramid eye
  • Yuzu quickly runs around the room looking for a hidden button but trips again and crashes through the front of the pyramid
  • The pyramid begins to glow and blink, a burst of radiation blasts all of us. Yuzu and k'Mort are impaired while Ludin is debilitated. Boils appear on all of our skin
  • Inside is some treasure 25shins, compass, 3 bottles of wine, 3 shape stone, 2 cyphers (headband and a belt)
  • k'Mort channels his inner Marc Ecko and tags the pyramid
  • a small yellow abhuman walks down the hall past Ludin into the pyramid room carrying something on his head
  • k'Mort recognizes it as a Yovolk which starts to pick up pieces and repair the pyramid
  • Yuzu tries to pull the Yovolk back from the pyramid
  • Ludin examines the device attached to the creatures head and revels it to be a mind control device
  • we head back down the hall and find a new door that presumably the creature came through
  • as we head down the new hall the loud bell that we heard before rings out in the exact same pattern
  • we head down the winding hallway that veers left and right. The hallway is tube shaped
  • Yuzu gives k'Mort the Vocal Translator and they spend some time getting to know each other
  • Partway down the hallway is a collapsed wall, buried in the rubble is a soft blue gel cube. Inside the gel is a 3 eyed woman with silver hair
  • After marking her location on the map we head further down the hallway and enter a chamber with large green crystals jutting out from the wall
  • We hear some creatures moving on the far side of the chamber, k'Mort listens closely and surmises that there are multiple creatures with 8 legs each
  • Yuzu throws a stone to get the creature's attention and bring it into the light. The creature seems to have multiple appendages and is emitting some kind of green smoke
  • Yuzu and Ludin hide in the shadows as k'Mort goes forward and tries to talk to it
  • They have a very primal/basic conversation to establish that we're all friends. They emit a gas that heals k'Mort a bit
  • They indicate there is food further down the hall
  • We head further down another cylindrical hall into another room with flying golden catfish like creatures. There is also a muffled voice coming from down the hall
  • k'Mort hovers up to investigate the fish. He notices that they have dangerous barb on them
