Numenera 03-02-25 Jade Colossus

  • Balarad has about 20k people of all types in it
  • The Jade Colossus exploded out of the ground about 5 years ago
  • In places it seems to look like a person
  • A loud bell rings out and seems to startle the towns folk
  • Saturnalia (my critter) steals a midnight stone off of Yuzu's table
  • Ludin gives her one of his as a replacement and invites her along to go investigate the bells
  • We head towards the Colossus through Boomtown which is a series of quickly built structures after the destruction of the Colossus emergence
  • Josh warns us about a fungus and gives us Jade Protector cloaks to wear and necklaces with a green eye
  • 18ft wall blocking the entrance which k'Mort climbs easily then lowers a rope to the rest of us. He finds a midnight stone at the top of the wall
  • once inside we walk down a western hallway into a domed room with balls of light
  • The light scans us and lifts us up into the air
  • There is a cracked pod leaking Pliable Metal in the corner. Ludin slams a midnight stone into it and activates it. The metal comes alive and crawls up Ludin's arm and transforms his skin into Chameleon Skin
