Dnd Notes 07-23-23

  • There is an exit from Tethlyamar on the other side of the rickety rope bridge
  • Luckily the Balor has forgotten about us for the time thanks to Neif's wish
  • Neif summons a Giant Vulture to ferry us across the bridge
  • As he flies across he starts getting pelted by arrows from some orcs on a nearby ledge, sadly the vulture dies
  • Bram manages to make his way across after being hasted and getting hit by a few arrows
  • There is a loud crashing sound behind us as if something broke through the rocks
  • Tazlin picks up Davric and makes his way across while shielding Davric from the arrows
  • Just as Tazlin steps onto the bridge the Balor teleports into the room
  • Tazlin uses misty step and double moves to just barely make it to the other side of the bridge
  • We barely make it out the door, the Balor stops at the door yelling something in demonic at us
  • We find ourselves down at a river and what seems like an old dock. According to our map it is the river Tesh
  • We decide to press on wanting to put some distance between us and the demon before finding a dry hilltop to rest for the night
  • The next day after hiking for a bit Tazlin manages to spear a few fish for some fresh food instead of the magically conjured meal
  • Tazlin summons Temptation as a dire wolf again despite her dislike of this form she agrees it makes more sense in this situation
  • For two nights in a row we hear a buzzing coming and going during the night so Neif and Temptation head to checkout what it is and it seems to be a large black bird with a giant red eye
  • Bram forges us some papers and disguises before we head out towards Teshwave
