Dnd Notes 11-13-22 B-Team

  • 37 on the Random Table - Jimco and Vapor partied a little too hard the night before and need some additional time to collect themselves
  • we peek into the crypt of the temple and see a bunch of empty coffins, presumably used by the vampire spawn we fought
  • we burn the coffins to prevent the vampire that ran away from returning and resting with his home soil
  • In one of the coffins be find five platinum coins and red potion that smell of sulfur
  • Charles the korgi is waiting for us outside wanting to join up with us but Ungvar tells him that its too dangerous and will be put up with a good family
  • Infaris goes to visit her family while Ungvar recuperates in a spa. She apologizes to them about being such a shit in the past and mentions that she has a daughter now. Her younger sister and her husband have taken over the family bakery
  • The leader of The Phantom Sisterhood, Yedrih, apparently stopped by the shop a few months ago looking for Infaris and Phoenix a few months ago with some of the purple cloaked figures.
  • Infaris' younger sister offers to take care of Charles since they had recently lost their old dog. Ungvar sheds a tear while parting with the dog
  • Infaris disguises herself as Yedrih and the pair head towards the temple district to investigate what is going on with the temple of Our Lady of the Sacred Flame
  • Jimco arrives with black dragon body parts

  • We enter the temple district and start looking for the temple's location.
    • there is a Bear preaching in the square
  • After getting directions we come to the marble temple with a golden dome. 2 purple adorn the temple. One has the image of a flame while the other has the outline of a woman on it
  • Infaris blows open the doors and enters the temple seeing Yedrih sitting on a throne at the head of the congregation
  • Infaris drops her disguise and calls out that she is the TRUE Infaris
  • Yedrih beckons her to the front with others, including a robed figure who doesn't seem part of Our Lady of the Perpetual Flame
  • Yedrih explains that they've been using the religion as a scam for profit and that Phoenix had visited and destroyed the place while looking for Infaris. She also mentions Fabulous Fizban, the robed figure nearby, is a wizard who knows about dragons and seems interested in Our Lady of the Perpetual Flame.
  • Yedrih doesn't seem to be aware of the Our Lady of the Perpetual Flame troops that are active outside of the city. They seem to be from a different sect or something
  • Infaris shows one of the dragon daggers to Fizban who mentions that if all 5 are gathered they can be used to summon Tiamat by sacrificing Phoenix. He mentions that Skarabinof has the Diamond eye white dagger.
  • Fizban mentions to Jimco and Ungvar that Tiamat tends to manifest her self in humanoid form that is eerily similar to Infaris
  • Dragonspear castle might contain one of the dragons we are looking for
  • Jimco identifies the red potions from earlier, they are potions of fire resistance. Each of us get 2
