Adam's Notes

  • Vapor plans to use thunderstep to get behind the giant and casts Fear on the giant to attempt to make him run away
  • He teleports in but the giant resists the Fear spell
  • Jimco rushes in and offers some more jerky that Vapor magically enhances the taste
  • Jimco spots 3 magical statues on the mantle. They are of a Cobra, Dragon, and a Gnome.
  • Jimco motions his appreciation of the craftsmanship of the statues and shows his tools to demonstrated he is also a craftsmen. The giant offers one of the statues as a gift
  • Jimco and Vapor discuss how to get the chest from the prisoners and Jimco starts to interrogate them
  • Infaris uses the Amulet of the Black Skull to teleport into the cage so she can start digging the prisoners out
  • All the prisoners and the chest turn out to be mimics who attack Infaris.
  • Vapor starts to pull out a file to grate away at the padlock but Infaris yells at him to just shoot something
  • Jimco continues to distract the giant.
  • Infaris teleports back out of the cave and motions for the others to follow
  • Jimco accepts the Gnome Statue from the Giant as a gift. Jimco pulls out a scroll and draws a picture of Davric Greenleaf and gives it to the giant along with a gem.
  • The giant tosses the gem into the air and eats it
  • We start to climb the mountain.
  • We hear a mule and some arguing up ahead. Seems like some merchants trying to get a mule to more.
  • Ungvar helps them with the Mule
  • The merchants mention a shack further up the trail that might be a good resting spot but something seemed "off" about it
  • Ungvar and Vapor plot to kill them for their souls but Infaris does her best to discourage it
  • The merchant mentions his cousin Dixie Ultra. Ungvar tells them that they are dead, in excruciating detail. Vapor uses Prestidigitation to create a trinket and tries to pass it as something that Dixie wanted the merchant to have
  • We go our separate ways and come up to the shack

Dan's Addendum

  • Vapor convinces the merchants to offer hard tack to the giant, in hopes that the giant will kill them for it and Vapor will get those innocent souls
