Dnd Notes 03-06-22 B-Team [Adam's Notes]

  • As we walk towards the mountain we ask Mr Zergy about himself.
    • In Bytopia for 3 years
    • Came via a portal in dragon's nest in Sherrock
    • Sweet on a girl from Sweethome (the town that was burnt by the dragon)
  • We encounter a stranger playing a flute (Dixie Ultra), he tells us we are in the Bronze Forest
  • He warns us not to start fires or the trees will "reclaim" us.
  • He also warns us to not go towards the lake
  • Infaris show Dixie and Mr. Zergy her fancy knife and they don't know anything about it
  • We send off Mr. Zergy to investigate the lake, he comes back with a bloody blade so we send him off again to wash up. We suspect he killed Dixie.
  • Apparently nothing happened while at the lake
  • Ungvar and Vapor attack Mr Zergy for being too evil. Infaris runs away yelling "I have nothing to do with this." remembering that Mr Zergy can breath fire and will likely set the forest on fire.
  • Mr Zergy does exactly what Infaris expected before being killed by Ungvar
  • Infaris see two tree ents step out of the forest who start marching towards the town. She talks to them and finds out that they are going to punish the town for the fire started by Mr. Zergy
  • We quickly come up with a plan to stop the ents. Jimco casts guidance on Infaris who shoved lemon seeds into the ground. Vapor casts Create Water while Infaris casts Haste to make the seeds grow. IT WORKS!!!!
  • Infaris manages to convince the ents to accept the new tree as an apology
  • As we approach the base of the mountain we see a stone giant standing in front of a cave and is looking at something on the ground
  • Jimco tosses the giant some jerky who then goes back inside. We hear screams from the cave.
  • We investigate and see some humans in a cage
  • Jimco investigates the corpse outside that we originally saw the giant poking at. It seems to have a strange configuration of organs, not normal for a human
  • Jimco starts casting Detect Magic as a ritual and we decide to further investigate the giant cave next time
