Dnd Notes 10-10-21 B-Team [Adam's Notes]

  • Dave and Seymore bond over their common love of fire
  • Dave and Seymore come upon Ungvar by a tar pit who points them in the direction of the rest of the group
  • He states that he forgot his pack by the crazy homeless man
  • Dave is short for Howard apparently which is short for Davorin
  • Dave and Seymore come right as we are climbing onto the back of the sphinx
  • Their camels scare away the sandworm
  • I ignore that scoundrel Dave while he talks about his journey and start to climb into the hatch on the back of the sphinx
  • Once inside there is a shaft that descends beyond our darkvision. Jimco drops a glowstick to get a sense of how far down it goes.
  • We descend into the bowels of the chamber beneath sphinx. The chamber is very simple, made of just dirt, rock and dried clay. There is a faint smell of rot
  • Reaching the bottom we see a path that branches into two different directions
  • As we start to explore the chamber Dave almost slips into the quicksand after the ground starts to give way under him
  • Jimco presses ahead down one of the path which Dave tagging along. There are brutish frog creatures with spikes along their back in the room guarding 3 chests. The stench of death is stronger in this room
  • Seymore and Infaris explore the other chamber where there are two zombies. One of whom we use a combo of Shove + Mold Earth to dump them into the quicksand. The other one was already in the quick sand
  • Dave uses a lightning whip to pull one of the frog creatures into the sandpit
  • Jimco fires his pistols at one of the frog creatures as the gunshots and cries of the creature ring off the walls of the temple
  • Seymore and Infaris head down another hallway where there are two more mummies, which sends him running for some reason.
  • Infaris disguises herself and Phoenix as mummies and tries to sneak past the other two in the area. The two of them successfully sneaks past one of them but the other seems something is amiss and follows the pair
  • Dave is winning in a game against Seymore 30,000 to 2
  • After Infaris annihilates one of the mummies she hears clinking metal from another room as if someone was jingling change
  • Seymore and Dave's game is called the "Fire Lady"
  • Pheonix and I, still disguised as mummies, shuffle into the next room where 3 blue dragon wryms are guarding a hoard
